I’m looking for feedback from my relatively small, but incredibly intelligent and savvy peeps on making the switch to biofuel.
What things are most important to you as a consumer in deciding whether or not to make the switch to biofuel if I told you:
1. It’d be cheaper than today’s avg gasoline and diesel prices. Not by a lot, but still cheaper.
2. That the fuel I’m referring to would be recycled vegetable oil from US based restaurants and other outlets (not from plants grown specifically for this purpose).
What types of information would you need to make this consideration? For example, would you want to know exactly where the vegetable oil came from? Would you want to know what the reduction in your carbon footprint would look like if you made the switch? Would you want to know how to make the switch and what’s involved?
Are there people you follow in this industry or sites that you visit that are rich in eco-friendly discussions and information?
