I have struggled for many years to wrangle my ADHD tendencies and start a business. I, like many others, get mired in the details. Where do I start first? How do I talk to people about my ideas? How much information do I share and with whom do I share it? Should I start with a mini-business plan or go for the full monty? How do I present the idea to a potential investor (video? PowerPoint? word doc?) and how much detail and images do I put it in it? Should I start talking to customers before they’re even customers? And my big one – What if someone steals my idea?
There is no shortage of questions that I’m sure are going through your mind too. Some of us have even staked our ingenuity and bright ideas on the welfare of our own families.
